Dylan is a Chartered Professional Structural Engineer and Structural Practice Manager at VIP Consult, based in Christchurch. With over 15 years of experience in structural design and analysis, he leads with a proactive approach to team leadership and client management, consistently delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. Dylan has extensive experience across commercial, institutional, and industrial developments in both New Zealand and South Africa.
Steve is the administrator for VIP Consulting Engineers. He has a background in various accounting roles and spent 20 years at the New Zealand Antarctic programme before retraining as a graphic artist. After a short break to take on a childcare role he spent 10 years as an administrator for a landscape architecture company before joining the VIP group. Steve's role for VIP Consulting involves accounting tasks and project management.
Eppie Hanekom is a dedicated Structural Engineering Technologist at VIP Consulting Engineers in Christchurch. With roots in South Africa, Eppie holds a Bachelor of Technology (Btech) in Engineering from the Central University of Technology South Africa. Currently, Eppie is pursuing a Master of Engineering (Civil: Structural).
As an Emerging Professional Member of Engineering New Zealand, Eppie brings a blend of international education and practical expertise to deliver safe, efficient, and innovative structural solutions for residential and commercial projects. Eppie's passion for engineering excellence drives a commitment to staying at the forefront of industry advancements.
Nik is a Structural Engineer with extensive experience in structural drafting and design for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Skilled in Revit, AutoCAD, and 3D modelling, he specialises in producing accurate drawings, detailed structural documentation, and efficient drafting systems that support smooth project delivery.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering and a Master’s degree in Fintech and Investment Management. With both local and international engineering experience, Nik brings precision, technical expertise, and practical site knowledge to ensure high-quality outcomes for clients
